At Hands on hessed, we envision a world where every person has access to the resources they need to live a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. At times, circumstances cause an individual or a family to have a set back, the medical condition has taken a toll, an extra hand to cook, drive and assist can keep the family afloat.
Makeup and costume Jewlery style boutique. The brides come in and get individual attention a one-on-one makeup session building their Own personal beauty kit along with a set of makeup brushes! The brides are also able to choose from any kind of Jewlery piece they like all different varieties (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, tennis necklaces) for them to have and enjoy.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to connect the people providing services with the people who need them. Join us to connect with people in new ways.
The last thing on the family‘s mind when dealing with treatment is preparing food. That’s what the freezer provides: the comfort that Ready home made food will arrive at your door step from a neighboring freezer loaded by community members with anything from soups, to Shabbat meals, samboosak, mini pizzas and the like. The freezer is restocked weekly and deliveries are done daily.
Bake Challie or dessert with flowers for widows and families in our community. Cooking full Shabbat/Holiday meals for families.
Baking and cooking for people who like or can only eat foods that are fiber filled, rich in nutrients, organic and low-calorie foods.
We partnered up with Chesed 24/7 to present packages to families with patients in the hospital.
We partnered up with The cancer center to give those kids a room they always dreamed of.
We all have seen beautiful flowers at happy occasions, imagine if someone can use them the next night at a different venue. We set up the platform to make it happen.
For babies and toddlers, both boys and girls, dresses and outfits for special occasions.
When out of the tri state area it may be difficult to find kosher food, we have our vendors deliver food to you.
